Bryan Hernandez

I graduated high school with a weighted GPA of 4.2 and was the recipient of the Posse Scholarship which is a full-tuition scholarship that took me to Pennsylvania. I stuck to the course throughout Covid and recently graduated in May 2023. During my college career I got to accomplish things beyond my wildest dreams. The summer after my sophomore year I interned for Bloomberg L.P. in their headquarters in New York City. The following semester I studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark where I was able to intern and travel Europe. Spring semester of my junior year I interned in commercial real estate with JLL through a program called Project Destined. I also joined a fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi, and got inducted into a secret honors society at my school known as The Order of the Scroll in Key. The summer following my junior year I returned to New York to intern with J.P. Morgan which is where I am working today full-time. During my time in school I also served in philanthropic events through clubs and my fraternity. I was the proud president of the Latin American and Caribbean Club which gave me a platform to create events and reach more people. I am happy to give back in any way that I can. I can never forget the $1,000 scholarship that NASA provided me with as well, it went a long way to cover my college expenses.

Me gradué de la escuela secundaria con un GPA ponderado de 4.2 y recibí la Beca Posse, que es una beca de matrícula completa que me llevó a Pensilvania. Seguí el curso durante todo Covid y recientemente me gradué en mayo de 2023. Durante mi carrera universitaria pude lograr cosas que iban más allá de mis sueños. El verano después de mi segundo año hice una pasantía para Bloomberg L.P. en su sede en la ciudad de Nueva York. El semestre siguiente estudié en el extranjero en Copenhague, Dinamarca, donde pude realizar prácticas y viajar por Europa. El semestre de primavera de mi tercer año hice una pasantía en bienes raíces comerciales con JLL a través de un programa llamado Project Destined. También me uní a la fraternidad, Kappa Alpha Psi, y fui incluido en una sociedad secreta de honores en mi escuela conocida como La Orden del Pergamino en Clave. El verano siguiente a mi tercer año regresé a Nueva York para realizar prácticas en J.P. Morgan, donde trabajo hoy a tiempo completo. Durante mi tiempo en la escuela también participé en eventos filantrópicos a través de clubes y mi fraternidad. Fui el orgulloso presidente del Club Latinoamericano y del Caribe, lo que me brindó una plataforma para crear eventos y ayudar a más personas. Estoy feliz de poder retribuir en todo lo que pueda. Nunca podré olvidar la beca de $1,000 que me brindó NASA, fue de gran ayuda para cubrir mis gastos universitarios.
