N.E.W. Academy of Science and Art (NASA) is dedicated to safeguarding its students, employees, and applicants from bullying, harassment, and discrimination of any kind. NASA upholds the belief that every student and employee deserves a safe, fair, and harassment-free environment.
The school is committed to fostering mutual respect, tolerance, and acceptance. Accordingly, NASA strictly prohibits any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying on school grounds, at school-sponsored events and activities, through school-owned technology, and via other electronic means.
Such behavior will not be tolerated and will be grounds for disciplinary action in accordance with Education Code 200, 5 CCR 4900, 20 USC 1681, 29 USC 794, 42 USC 2000 and 12101, Title IX, the Educational Amendments Act of 1972, and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
